What to do around

The Cévennes National Park and the Pic Saint-Loup offer you a wide range of sites to visit: from typical villages to large towns and natural discoveries. There is something for everyone!

Close to the Pic Saint-Loup, make a stop at Saint-Martin-de-Londres, a pleasant medieval town in the heart of the garrigue. Spared from mass tourism, you can appreciate this atmosphere where life is good. Stroll along the intimate ramparts and wander through the narrow streets lined with small houses with flowery balconies. In the centre of the village, on the square around the fountain, have a coffee or a meal prepared with local products; enjoy the refreshing shade of its hundred-year-old plane trees. To the north of the peak, go to  Ganges; you will be seduced by its picturesque charm.

Looking for an urban getaway? About thirty kilometres to the south, go to Montpellier. This dynamic and welcoming city open its arms wide to you. Take a stroll through the pedestrianised streets of the city centre and stop off at the famous Place de la Comédie, where shops, bars, restaurants, cinemas and more await you.

If you want to see the sea, you can easily reach the beautiful beaches of Carnon or Palavas-les-Flots.
